Layer sorting does not work

I have the feeling that the Layers panel is supposed to allow sorting by clicking a column header. Even if that isn’t explicitly documented, it would be the intuitive behavior.

If clicking the Layer header simply did nothing, I would assume sorting isn’t supported. But I’m seeing behavior that makes me think something is broken:

  • In the Layers panel, click the Layer column header → nothing visibly changes.
  • Run Undo → Command History says: Undoing Layer - sort layers
  • Run Redo → Command History says: Nothing to redo.

So Rhino seems to think a layer-sort operation occurred, but the layer order does not actually change.

Is this expected behavior, or a bug?

It does.
This was broken for a brief period but since there was no public Beta last week, the fix hasn’t been available yet. Hopefully, there will be a public build in about 26 hours from now.
