Layer panel slow in Rhino 8

it’s installed on the SSD but this was couple months ago I’d say 3 times this happened I have not noticed this after updates

I built it in 2012 with upgrades over the years Surprisingly it still functions but showing its age in performance

In case the comment got lost and if it’s useful, please note that BricsCAD V25 has a layer panel that runs similarly slowly and buggily for me as Rhino 8’s.

No change to Rhino 8’s layer panel behavior for me as of SR 19. Rhino 8 is still unusable and we’re continuing to use 7.

Hi @anon,

Obviously this isn’t anything we can address.

How so? Can you demonstrate, perhaps create a video, of how the Layers panel in Rhino is is unusable?

This is a fairly old subsystem, circa 2017, as computers go. For context, we didn’t ship Rhino 6 until the Fall of 2018. I’m assuming your system if of roughly the same vintage?
