New Rhino 8 is much faster in 3D view (except ghosted where regularly crashes) but the interface is very slow. For example, typing the name of a layer in the search field takes 3-5 seconds to work. Snap options are also very slow (1-2 seconds). I have a fast i9 computer with 64Gb, SSD, new graphics card with the latest drivers. Can I do something regarding the slow interface or it is a bug that will be solved?

Hello Igor,
I think i face the same problem with Rhino 8 . A massive delay when enable or disable or just ticking the modeling aids (filter, osnap, gumball etc,).
Is it possible to solve this?
Thanks in advance
Panagiotis
Hello Wim
Thanks for the reply,
Usually happens in files with objects in it (for example in a file 100MB), not in empty files.
When tick for instance the end osnap the tick icon appears in the box after 1 second. As you can realise its impossible for me to work properly.

I think I need a sample file that shows this behavior. Pls upload it here
I made a test file with 1300 layers and search is still snappy. I do see a delay when all layers start with the same name, e.g. layer_###, and then typing layer will be slow.
