And now, when I open up the 3dconnexion Settings, I can’t even access the Rhino settings - it just always shows Windows Explorer, no matter what. I tried uninstalling the software and re-installing, no luck, same behavior. I put in an email to 3dconnexion support, but no word back yet…
@lander 2004, wow! I was born in 2005! You’ve been in it for the long haul!
@sgreenawalt Oof that’s ruff. I would try calling them… I had some keys fall of one of their keyboards and sent them an email… No response. But we called them a month or two later and they were very helpful. Never got a response to that email.
Lol! Thats true, I don’t do a ton of complex filleting since I do timber. You know though, at least they haven’t succumbed to Annual licenses! Gota love Rhino
Do you mind explaining how do you save the settings ?
I can’t see anywhere to do that? in their options,
On Mac here, and the 3Dconnexion options are much more limited…
[I seem to vaguely remember something about digging for a certain file somewhere deep in the system…?]
Thanks a lot.
Unfortunately these settings does not exist for Mac
[did some reading…]
The options for Mac are very limited in the 3Dc Pref.
One need to save a backup of these files:
With the hope that the ones you remembered to save were current…

Plus, there’s no rhino 3Dc plugin for the Mac, which is a shame.
Other apps have equal options between platforms for 3Dconnexion [I’ve tried in Blender, Fusion360, and Zbrush]
In Zbrush for example, the driver [even on Mac comes fully configured, with good default settings, for all the nearly 40 buttons options on the Enterprise device ].

The newest update gave me some headaches. So I come back to version 10.7.3. It works well for me. I use this fantastic 3D mouse for Rhino & Revit. So sad, the software team is not commensurate with the hardware team.
