I just installed the latest Rhino 9 Beta updater and my mouse has gone funky when I’m using the program. I was using the Beta program and everything was going well. I got the message there was a new update and I installed it. Here is what is happening.
I will finish a operation and I want to end it, so I click my right mouse button as enter and it won’t do anything. I have to press the enter button for the operation to stop. So, I replaced the batteries in the mouse and the same thing happens. So, in troubleshooting, I fired up Rhino 8 and it’s working perfectly. Not sure what is going on.
I did a factory reset…what a pain, all my settings gone…darn. and yet the problem persists. It was working fine until I installed the latest Beta Release…oh well, that’s why they call it BETA. It would be interesting if other Mac Users are running into the same issue.
Ok, now that your settings are gone, please try the optionsmigrate command. It should allow you to drop all your v8 options into v9 with a click or two.
can you post your systeminfo as well so we can see what your set up is and try to repro it?
@Jim_Girard if you run Reset and restore to factory defaults, Rhino automatically makes a backup of your settings. Let me know if you still need this or if the options migrate fixed it.
