Laptop crapped out - need new one for Rhino 6 - Recommends?

What is the best sub $3000usd 17" laptop for Rhino 6 right now? Mostly for Rhino, but also a bit of Photoshop and some rendering (keyshot and/or vray) and possibly some unreal engine 3d environment modeling. Ive been running an Asus G751J and after swapping for an ssd drive and adding 32gb ram, it’s done me well for 3 years but now the usb ports arent working (maybe I’ll fix it?). In case I dont and need a new beast of a laptop, please suggest recommendations and/or specs.

What do you think of the Alienware 17 r5?

Thanks John.

I bought an ASUS GL702VI-WB74 added 16 GB of ram and have been very happy with it. For some reason the price has jumped up…I gave right at $2000 it’s now closer to $2700. The screen on this thing is incredible.

Without doubt I would buy the new Thinkpad P72 with a 4K display.
I have the lower spec P52s and very happy with it for Rhino.

Thanks Miles.

Thanks Brian.
