I’ve just kind of put up with this behaviour for ages, but i often find when i am working within the grasshopper window - the keyboard prompts seem to be operating the Rhino window
For instance in this screenshot I have selected the objects on the GH canvas but pressing “Shift + G” is attempting to group items in the Rhino window,
Also annoyingly when this happens, keys such as “Del” or"Ctrl+z"stop working and to delete an item I have to use the ribbon to use these basic functions
Again I have selected the “Shapes” scribble and pressed “Del” - you can see the Rhino window is executing this command
This comes up every once and while when using Grasshopper.
Here are a couple methods people have successfully resolved it without restarting Rhino.
Have the same -delete glitch. But I just found a pattern, which solves the problem for me. (Windows7 x64 Rhino 4)
1. Click - Show desktop button on taskbar (Rhino and Grasshopper window minimizes)
2. Click one more time - Show desktop button (Rhino window restores, but Grasshopper window is not)
3. Just double click Grasshopper window to maximize it, and the problem disappears.

After some time, I found out that the problem appeared when I worked on two screens with different resolutions. Rhino, for some reason, could not find an active Grasshopper window.
I found a solution to fixing that problem!
Even two!
The first one:
Buy the new screen with the same resolution! 💸💸
The second one:
To maximize the Grasshopper window in a way that it will be visible on just one screen. Any part of the Grasshopper window can not exceed your primary screen. First, try to minimize the Grasshopper window and then change the size in order that fits in your primary screen and then maximize. It has to appear just on one screen.
