Making Instruction guides for our bed frames, I am
going back and forth between “Namedview” and “4view” to “Make2D” drawings. (Rhino 8)
Problem.
Shaded view dissapears when I shift from “namedview” and goes into wireframe in “4view”
Is it possible to keep shaded view?

The command _4View should not change the display mode that was previously set in a viewport. There must be something else going on. Can you be more precise about the commands or shortcuts you are using to switch views?
Image 03: I have a named view called Steps02, (always working in shaded mode.)
When I shift to 4view I simply left click 4view icon, but it changes to wireframe

This does appear to be some sort of buglet. If you hit 4View, any viewport that had a named view gets reset to wireframe, even if it was shaded previously. Other views are not affected. Hmmm.
