Issue With Clipped Block References On Locked Layer

When a block reference is clipped by a clipping plane and on layer that is ‘locked’, the block reference does not display a solid material fill.

Block reference is clipped by a clipping plane and the layer it is assigned to is “unlocked”

Hi Brady- thanks, I’ll see if I can repeoduce this - is the display mode a default ‘Shaded’ one? Can you please run SystemInfo in Rhino and copy paste the results here?

It doesn’t seem to matter what display mode is being used. In fact, when set to shaded mode the block instance turns black and becomes nearly impossible to see, maybe another bug? The mode I am using in my screenshots is a custom version of rendered mode.

Yep, I see this, thanks. RH-70873 Blocks on locked layers do not clip properly
So far this is not a problem in the WIP builds.
