In the latest Rhino 8 RC 32 (8.32.26131) update, you fixed the so-called “bug,” which was this: I have a flat background on an isolated layer, and on the next layer I’m working on curves by tracing the curves from the background; since there are many curves, I isolate the one I’m working on; the guide on the locked layer remains visible, while the rest of the objects in the scene disappear. And that has been my workflow for years. However, after this functionality was fixed as bug RH-95187 in the latest update, isolating an object now causes objects on locked layers to disappear as well. Has a command or toggle been added, such as: “Keep locked layers or objects visible after isolating other objects”? I have to admit that this change has complicated my workflow a bit.
hi @LechuC I don’t know if an option was added, so I reopened the issue.
Thanks for your reply. Best regards.
