Hi,
I got a weird install error on the latest WIP, on trying to start it pops up a System Error that says “the program can’t start because api-ms-win-crt-utility-l1-1-0.dll is missing from your computer.” I tried a reinstall and it didn’t help.

After some Googling I fixed it by installing this update to the “Universal C Runtime,” https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2999226 . Odd that I don’t see others with this issue.
Download and install the x64 version of this:

I was first to report this problem. All attempts to solve it failed so I decided to go nuts and upgrade Win 7 to 10. It did the trick. I lost some of my privacy but got my WiP working which is nice. It should be followed by some nice meme…
The problem is with the WIP installer not installing everything Rhino needs. This will be fixed…soon…
Clearly, Brian have a different view on it.
