I am just learning Rhino using the evaluation version. I am trying to import a dwg to the front view of rhino. It is a 2D set of hull lines for a boat. I cannot see how to import to the front view. Thank you.
Lots of AutoCAD files are just 2-D. Thus when imported, you will see them in the Top view, or the world xy-plane view. To see them in the Front view, you will have to rotate the geometry about the world x-axis. You might also read the Rhino help file about the RemapCPlane command.
