Import texts from GH to Revit as text annotation on the draft view

Yes, you are right, the location of the text had to with the units and the scale of the view. However the result of the justification is still a little bit annoying because if you select the text you can check that it has the correct values in the Horizontal Align parameter, but it looks like all the text have been justified to the left side.

It looks like the “insertion point” for the texts is always located on the top left corner of the box that contains the text.

When you place a Text in Revit its always going to be in that top left location.

To even approximate you would need a top left position of whatever text in Rhino you are trying to transfer for placement.

I actually got this working better by adding the justification before we place the text. My current definition is a bit hacky and will need to clean it up before sharing.

Please test this for now.

Hi!

This is exactly what I needed. Thank you so much!

Hi Thomas, with the ZoomUI you can expose the additional inputs of the Add Text component.

Looks cool, thanks, keep up the good work

Text is showing in Rhino but not in Revit.
Any help? Thanks!

Please see your previous post.

Rhino dimensions aren’t applicable to Revit, it would need to be Revit Dimension.

I am talking about text. Kindly let me know how to pop up any text on Revit while using Rhino.Inside? Thanks.

Hi Obidul,

You can find the Add Text Rhino.Inside.Revit component in the Annotation Tab.

It requires a View, Point location & Text Content.
