Import sldprt not supported

I’m trying Rhino because of The import and export of files for a 3D animation project.

A friend my has Rhino (Win) and can import .sldprt files. With this mac version Rhino doesn’t recognize .sldprt ??

There is no Mac version of SolidWorks so there is no Mac SW function library to read their files.
SW file import will be a Windows only feature for the foreseeable future.

Export from SW as STEP and open them in Mac Rhino

It does not, unfortunately. You might try STEP as a workaround.

Yes. Please check out this list for a complete set.

STL is just a mesh so while it is a supported file format, it’s a terrible choice for accuracy and smoothness.
