Is there anything like a PDM software for Solidworks? Check in, check out, revision control?
A side question. Can two ppl open write-access to the same Rhino file? Or does one have read access only? I can’t check this now so I ask.

What, has someone developed a new PDM solution for Rhino in the last year? Umm no. Buying a PDM is buying a bill of goods, most of them can I’m sure be set up to manage Rhino files in a generic manner, Rhino models don’t have any sort of assembly/part structure to manage beyond that. (Some try to use blocks for this, it doesn’t work.)

I’m not used to working on large collaborative files, so I don’t know if I fully understand what you’re asking for, but you may try this:
Rhino has this function called Worksessions - “The Worksession command lets more than one user work on a large project. By breaking the project down into many files, one user can edit a part of the project while another user edits a different file.”
It may not be exactly what you’re looking for, but I felt it should be mentioned.
On Rhino for Windows. Not available in Rhino for Mac currently.
