What I am always curious about when I see those prototypes, is how much the actual ergonomics already play a part. The sitting position often looks like it is not quite right or at least not very comfortable. In this case the sitting position looks very high and like it might not give a lot of support.
I see that with a lot of motorbike concepts and the ergonomics of actually riding the thing cause quite a few changes later on. One example that comes to mind is the Sondors Metacycle. In the prototype the seat was completely flat and really thin, which looked cool. The production bike now has a much thicker and more rounded seat.
So I am curious if that is something that comes later on purpose or is it always considered from the start, but just fine-tuned or actually tested later on?

Ergonomics is an important aspect of motorcycle design and it is usually considered from the start. However, it is often fine-tuned and tested later on in the design process with engineers to ensure that it is comfortable and safe to ride. The sitting position and seat design are important factors in this process and can undergo changes based on feedback and testing. In the case of the Sondors Motorcycle, the prototype had a flat and thin seat which was later changed to a thicker and more rounded seat in the production. This is an example of how ergonomics can be fine-tuned during the design process with engineers.
