How to model a chair seat

I am new to Rhino, and would like to try to model the seat of this chair.
How would you go about that?

Make lines from the top view and extrude curves eg. 20mm. Then patch the top to make a surface to pull on control points?

Probably a basic question, but I haven’t been able to find an answer else ware :slight_smile:

hi kvi,

in rhino its best not to think about building edges and then “patch” some surfaces in.

rather than this think of surfaces and how are they connected. when you are thinking of surfaces instead of edges life in rhino will get a lot easier.
