How to Dimension Grid Lines?

Update. This turns out to be an issue with dimension strings including VirtualArq objects. I have summed up the set of issues at what is at this point the most current post in this string:

I wonder what’s happening here. The Gif’s frame rate makes things out of sync, but what happens is that when I activate and then deactivate the detail window, layout space-residing dimensions shift into incorrect positions, and multiply: [DimensionShiftWithDetailWIndowActivation]
