How to deal with high density meshes - speed up viewport

Hey, when using meshes like this, Rhino dramatically slows down. Is converting into blocks a fair strategy? Or is there a faster responsive way of doing this. Know in Modo it is called “static meshes”, you would not be able to edit them. But viewport performance would increase a lot.

Or is there something like working with instances in Rhino?

Thanks a lot!

Hey is there a way to deal with meshes in Rhino, working with plants in projects especially is so tiring slow and lagging.

Many thanks for any advice!

Hi Hannes - you can set the display mode to use bounding box display for dynamic drawing.

You can also try Joining meshes that share a material - if there are many separate mesh objects that can be joined into one, that should also help.
