Hi, greetings from 2022.
I have been trying this process in these days. Some floors were generated successfully, but some are not. Do you know what could be the problem?

Hi @c.zou,

Are you on v1.9 and using the ‘ Host Sub Elements’ component?

Keep in mind that looking the floor from Top view all the points should be inside or on the floor boundary.

Thank you,

Hello everyone,

I juste wanted to thank you all at mcneel for answering and helping. with this.
I have always been a rhino fan and we are now using it much more intensively in the office.
Our office is based in paris, Richez_Associés

And the project i was working on two years ago (the one mentionned in this thread) is built !
Rhino changed a lot of things and helped us a lot with our client and partners.

Here’s the project if you are interested. L’aménagement de la Porte de la Chapelle | Richez_Associés.
If you want to see pictures of the built project in detail i can show you.

Anyways, thanks and cheers to all of you working at Mcneel

Hi @kike @Japhy ! I’ve been trying to modify floor’s points using Host shape component, but I keep getting same error, component doesnt work for me.

I’m using the solution that I wrote before and it was working fine, but since some time I cant create even simplest slanted floor… Could you help me out? does the component work for you?

There was a recent fix in regard to points are on the edge tolerances, please update to the latest RiR/Rhino.
