Hi all, I am struggling to close the openings on this object. I tried Untrim and connecting the naked edges one by one, but nothing works.
How can I close the openings without loosing the original shape?

Seems like your geometry was made with SubD but some edges were open. Then the conversion to brep kept those defects. Fix your SubD.
That .3dm file is from a pirated copy of Rhino.
Please consider buying it.
Upgrading your licence is roughly half-off!
I purchased the file online, so I do not have acces to the SubD settings, can I fix it as the version I have now?
Since you paid for it, ask them for the subd or mesh file; with the ‘Stitch’ command, it’s a problem you can solve right away.
or have the seller correct the file, as it is sold with a design defect
Hi Maimun, I went through the areas that were hollow and built surfaces using some Xnurbs , some 2 rail sweep, some surface from edges and curve blend. Took 15 minutes. Just tackle them one at a time. Mark
Hello Riccardo,
Would you please share how you determined that this file is from a pirated copy of Rhino? If for self apparent reasons, could you please DM me with this information? Helpful to know, because like you and others there are clear fixes to the file. I was had worked up a fix but when I returned to the page and saw your post, well personally, I am not inlined to post a fix of a model that itself was made in a stolen copy of Rhino.
Thank you,
Andy
