How to analyze the woven structure of thin plate strips

Hello everyone, I am a Karamba beginner. I encountered a problem when simulating a pavilion. My pavilion is made of horizontal and vertical strips of thin plates woven together through the inner and outer layers, so each unit is fixed with bolts. I want to use a shell to simulate each unit strip, but I can’t find a suitable component to simulate the fixing of screws. Is there any way to analyze this type of structure?
Previously, I wanted to analyze the entire shell as a whole, but this was too holistic and the displacement obtained from the analysis was much smaller than it should be.

You can simulate the bolt connections as a beam element, you just need to make sure that the connection of the beam and shell are defined as a mesh vertex of your shell.

Thank you! I will try it ASAP!

The bolts are too short to generate beams. How can we deal with it in this situation?

The “limit distance” input can be set to a smaller number. The default is 0.05

Thank you! Now it works!
Really appreciate your help!
