How do I get my meshes to display like this?

Take a look at this screenshot.

I imported this sketchup file and it came in as a block. I really like how this block is displated with no linework. When I explode the block to get to the mesh all the lines become visible. I tried welding the mesh and this makes the lines less dark but still there. How can I the mesh to display like it is on the right.

in
_DisplayProperties
turn of
Mesh Wires

to keep those settings or have more control
you can also create your own display mode

besides the general visibility - same as above
you can also change
objects → meshes → … (thickness to 0)

hope this helps -tom

Tom,

Thankyou this is what I was looking for.

Could you clarify this:

“besides the general visibility - same as above
you can also change
objects → meshes → … (thickness to 0)”

Where are these menus located and does this allow me to change the display properties for just one specific object?

you find display modes in the
_options

see in help here

and yes a single object can have a custom “per object” display mode

SetObjectDisplayMode
