How can I build this kind of inflatable model in rhino?

I tried using SubD, but the overall surface is uneven. Any better solution for this?

The more facets in the subd, the more uneven it will be. Reduce the # of facets will increase the smoothness, but decrease the accuracy.

That is an unavoidable trade off.

Unfortunately its more difficult … this requires generating flat patterns for the material. Ideally the model would be constructed in a way so that it is all developable surfaces, but that makes it more difficult to generate the design if the form is complex. There are programs like Exact Flat that are used in that industry although some people do use Rhino with a variety of plugins to do it.
