Holomark 2 Released!

i have Vray 20024932 x64 and Rhino 5 SR11 (5.11.50226.17195) x64, is there any way to fix it?

i installed vray sp2 and my score up to 47000, thanks!

Ah, great that you found it and that if fixed it!

ok i got rid of my k420 card and installed a gtx960 4g. much better with this. looks like my cpu is the bottle neck now.

Not bad for an rather old-ish office PC! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Can anyone explain this massive difference in results from 5 repetitive tests on a MacBookPro without doing any alterations in Rhino properties?
A doubling of the score without doing any adjustments is quite fantastic…
Have anyone else made similar experiences?

GPU_01 and CPU_04are the score that really stands out, so it can be due to a background process that ran. On your top score GPU_01 hit 900 fps and that requires the full attention of the CPU core. Thanks for posting it, I’ll see if I can fix something for Holomark3.

Here are my results

Hey Holo,
Thanks for doing this.
Pete

Hi Pete, you are welcome!
One question: Are you running in Quality or Performance mode (driver setting), see neobounds post just above, it won’t affect the overall Nurbs handling, but can increase the mesh handling.

Here’s my score for a HP Z440 quad ro K4200

Holo, never thought to check. The prior score was using the quality setting. Her she is using the performance setting. Seems like a huge gain. But there really is a noticeable degradation in quality as a trade-off.

For all of you considering buying a macbookpro. This is last years hardware (mid 2014) with the last nvidia grafics card.
I run the laptop with a thunderbolt display (as only monitor, laptop is off) and I am quite happy with it running rhino and other applications.
Looking forward to Windows10, when I feel save to use it next year
