Help with toposolid subdivide

Hi,

I am trying to create a subdivision but am getting the below error:

Every boundary is a closed planar curve.
The same error occurs when I try to create the subdivision natively in Revit.

Internalized graph attached, if anybody can take a look I would be very grateful! Thank you.

Can you attach your topsolid files. I don’t see any issue here

Too large to upload.

The result when the selection is reduced is also weird.

It seems like it could be related to boundary lines coincident with subelement vertices.

Thanks!

Unfortunately I can’t open the file as it is saved in newer version of Revit. i am using RVT 2025.4

I think it will keep causing issues to try to work with this toposolid, it has nearly 100k faces.

Its such a flat topography overall, and the scale is so large, that it probably makes sense to use a flat toposolid. The highways which are sunken don’t register that well anyway on the free topo. I think the right strategy is to start with a block and spend the time to create sweeps for the voids. Especially because I am going to CNC a base.

i was able to create a subdivision with the entire boundary. But it doesn’t interact with the toposolid correctly. It doesn’t seem to cut. With a negative offset it is completely embedded.

Not even a single interior boundary produces a working subdivision, but the component is running without errors. I have no clue what is wrong.
