Hi there, I recently switched from rhino 5 to rhino 6 but I’m having trouble with my hatch patterns. When I create a solid hatch in an organic shape and I accept the pattern settings, the hatch turns into a rectangle. Looks like a bounding box of the input curves. I tried adjusting the tolerances for the file, starting a new file, exploding and rejoining the curves but doesn’t seem to help. Any settings I can modify to make the hatches snap to my curves better?
Thanks for any help
Hi Lou - can you please run the SystemInfo
command in Rhino and post the results? Also please post a file with a hatch that looks wrong in it.

Hi Pascal, thanks for looking into this. Now immediately after I sent this message the error has not occurred again. In any case here is what it usually does

If you still see the problem, please post an example file.

Ok thanks will do.
hatch error.3dm (43.2 KB) i just installed the update but the error seems to be happening again see attached file
Hi Lou - your curves are very far from the world origin - about six million units. This messes with precision - do they need to be way out there?

Ok got it the linework comes from a geo-located file. But I will move it closer to 00. Thanks for the help!
