Hi @mkarimi
using gumball works great with the pencil. The hover effect over the handles is essential. Therefore using the gumball with the finger is not so useful.
I’d appreciate an option using finger gestures only for view navigation and disable selection and draging. So it would be possible to rotate crowded scenes with selected objects.
Bug: Picking the Gumball Menu Ball crashes Rhino.
The Key Modifier Thing looks WIP and I assume you know these issues:
Picking Command enables vertical drags. The behavior is sticky but there is no indicator on the panel. The preview shows Cplane moves which will be corrected afterwards.
Many more little things and there are so many different use cases for iRhino… From simple presentations to custom intuitive modeling interfaces. I’ll have fun pushing iRhino forward
Yes, if the start point for the view rotation is inside the selected object. For example you want to adjust the height of a base plane and the selected object is all over the viewport; then it is not possible to rotate the view.
I think we need more advanced finger gestures for navigation
Rotate.and Zoom with two fingers (similar to trackpad on macbook, but both at the same time)
Pan with three fingers
One finger for picking / modeling
?
This was discussed here before. I’m hesitant to change the current gestures for navigation because the primary purpose of the app is presentation. Two finger pan and zoom is very familiar to iOS users and I’d like to keep it that way
Yes, I understand and already said so… there are so many different use-cases for iRhino. Also the Helmet AR is fantastic.
“Assisted Modeling” is another complex topic…
First we need some custom scripting
