Hi,
I see the disappearing gumball is a recurring problem. I changed and reset a few Nvidia settings today
The 4090 shows in devices but no Intel graphics show. The gumball appears then disappears when the mouse gets close in both 7 & 8. With a box I see the centre free movement dot, with a SubD I see red and green dots. I can also invoke the numerical gb input. I have reset gumball and the Nvidia settings. Rhino was not in the Nvidia group of apps, I added it and have now removed it. Nvidia was not in the global list, I added it.
The gumball works OK on other CAD programs and on my laptop. Can you suggest any fixes?
Thank you.

Does this happen in all display modes? Are your display modes more or less default?
Dunno, maybe update the Nvidia driver for good measure - looks like it’s a year old - and if that doesn’t help maybe try temporarily disabling the two plug-ins Bella and D5…
Driver says it’s the latest, hard to believe but… Disabled Bella and D5, no change. The GB works if I remember the position… What display modes? Render V wireframe? No difference.
What is the point of having a powerful video card and year-old drivers? (or beyond).
Video drivers need to be updated, this solves many graphic problems. I often read similar posts, same problems…
Updated drivers to ( Driver date: 11-29-2023 (M-D-Y). OpenGL Ver: 4.6.0 NVIDIA 546.29)
The GB is a little better, can select a function if the cursor does not pass over something else … But if I touch a function like scale x then change to scale y, it still disappears. MOI, Zbrush, Maya all work fine.
