The Grid can be displayed when you enable a Detail, and for your reference.
Could be I’m missing something here.
I’m trying to draw a title block. I’ve been drawing in Layout space, not Model space.
I’ve been under the impression that title blocks, dimensions, symbols and tags should be drawn and located directly on a Layout, and not inside an active Detail. Is that wrong?
If I were the double-click into a Detail and start placing objects, am I essentially drawing in Model space through the Detail portal?
Also, when I enable grid snap in Layout space, without even placing a detail, the cursor snaps to a grid, albeit an invisible one.
