Hey guys! I’ve just installed Rhino 6 and there I can’t turn on Grasshopper. I click on the icon and it says “Unknown command”. What’s wrong?
Besides, that’s my SECOND Rhino 6. I had it prevoiusly and everything worked perfectly. Then I deleted the program and today I downloaded a new one and that’s what happened.

What exact version of Rhino6 have you got? And can you find a file called GrasshopperPlugin.rhp anywhere inside the Rhino6 program files folder?

check your _PluginManager : is grasshopper loaded and enabled? if it is not liste browse to that .rhp and install it

I mostly needed to know whether or not it was installed at all. It clearly is, so now we need to figure out why it isn’t loading. One explanation is that isn’t supposed to load because it’s load-protected. You can tell from the _PluginManager command.
You can also try and load it manually to see what happens. Drag+drop the rhp file into Rhino. Does it load? If not, what error messages are you getting in the command history?

The _PluginManager says that it isn’t loaded. So I click install, select rhp file and nothing happens.
I also tried to manually drag the file into Rhino, but nothing happend either. It says “drag&grop unable to load plug-in” . Does it mean that it’s load-protected? How can i deal with it?
Disable it, restart Rhino, then drag and drop should work

Now when i click on GH icon the program asks whether i want to download the plug-in. I say Yes and… nothing happens. Might it be blocked or what?
@brian would you have any idea on why loading fails? It’s a pretty uninformative error message leading me to believe its not failing in a way we’ve been expecting.
