Grasshopper styles input for slab

hi

I’m trying to create Grasshopper styles- slab and I don’t know what is the correct input to create the rectangular you uselessly use for creating a Slab.

thanks

Hi,
The slabs style created from GH definitions take the 0,0,0 coordinates as the insert point. They don’t take boundary curves as input when inserting them, as the regular slabs do. We are planning to add this feature in future versions.

So up to now you need to define the boundary of the slab in the GH definition for creating slabs from GH styles.

Hi, is there a change in this issue? Is it possible to input a closed line? Or maybe an input of two points (diagonal of a rectangle) like inserting a regular slab?

Hi, this feature is planned for VisualARQ 3.

Thanks for the update.

Hi @11170 have you tried VisualARQ 3? it includes the option to define a boundary curve for slabs created as Grasshopper styles. You can see an example of how this works in this video: https://youtu.be/789JeSaVKeY?si=2RjOCt0hzPcRLyN5
