Hi everyone,
I’m making a beer menu board for a local shop. It is in french. That means that some of the name/letter have accents. I’d like to center the text, but without the accents. I’ll many panels to do, so I don’t have to do it manually.

That seems to be a problem related to OpenNest.
I don’t have the font but the placement looks correct in Rhino 8, using the new Grasshopper Rhino Text Entity component.

If you really want to use OpenNest, you can search your text for any special french characters and replace them. The bounding box around this text without accents is used to orient the original text.

I was not planing on using using openNest. But it seems a good idea. Thank’s a lot !
