ggIFCexport Levels flipped in Revit

Hi
I have 2 levels in a Rhino model - Basement3 (lowest level elev 5.92) and Basement2 (elev 8.46).
When I export to IFC and open in Revit (24 & 25), Basement 3 is at correct elevation but basement 2 has elevation of 0.000m and all elements have 8.46 added to their base so elements seem to be in the right place.
I really need to have the levels showing in the right place but I don’t quite understand how it all works- new to gg and IFC.

Hi Richard,

Thanks for the post. Are you using out of the box IFC link/open in Revit? Or our 3rd party IFC import plugin? Can you share an example script? I will reach out to you directly if you prefer to share privately.

Thanks,

Jon

Hi Jon,

I have just used the ifc layers in Rhino adding each manually and haven’t looked at a script yet. We are trying to get something out as quickly as possible so that a client can say yes or no to ifc at which point we will buy the licence. I am pretty close to out of time.

I haven’t had a lot to do with Grasshopper so that would take a bit of time to learn.

Since I won’t be the one using the IFC , I need it to go into vanilla Revit.
