As an ex-graphist I t took me many years to trim my font collection down so FontBook just had my essentials and then load what I need when I need. And since being brought up in the Modern-Swiss school of design, why doesn’t everyone just use Helvetica …

I may be thick or something, but what’s wrong with using scale 1-D to get untracondensed?
Scale1D will scale the letterforms as well as the space between them, not sure if the proportions will really be correct after - worth a try though. However, it might be possible to use that in conjunction with scaling the positions of the letters with a script afterwards in order to adjust “to taste”… --Mitch

I think for now I “eat the sour apple” on a pc and look for another program that runs on mac in the meantime. The amount of letters I have to scale is to wast. Its a big project.
Maybe the problem will be fixed shortly on the betaversion?!
