Feature Request: Revit Metadata Properties in Rhino Panel!

Hello y’all. I want to request a feature where you can basically read and write attributes from and to Revit. One practical example would be to have a “Revit” Panel that has all the typical properties of Revit elements such as walls, doors, windows, ceilngs, roofs, etc. and apply that to a native Rhino geometry. For example, as we all know, Revit only requires a line, arc and polyline as an input to make a wall , so in Rhino what can be done is to have the Revit Panel I’ve mentioned containing all the loaded wall properties in Revit, then apply that as an attribute to to Rhino lines, arcs & polylines. Then in that same Revit panel we can input the type(maybe a dropdown list of all walls), the height and all other relevant parameters.

Now I know that this can already be done using grasshopper, but it would be more convenient if we could do this in the native rhino window, we could just choose a geometry then apply all the necessary attributes then press a button that imports it to be created in Revit. Zaha Hadid Architects actually made a custom script that predates Rhino Inside Revit doing just this. Below is an excerpt from the lecture by Eckhart Schwerdtfeger showcasing their methods.

As you can see, they made a Revit BIM panel where you can select attributes to be applied to Rhino geometry.

Thanks for sharing.

I filled an issue into our repo about it.
Let’s see what we can do.

Thanks so much, @kike . I think this is one major missing element to really speed up the workflow.
