Having an interactive clipping box that works as a clipping plane would be very useful in archtiecture to create viewes like this without having to use distructive boolean.
Hi Riccardo -
I’ve added this thread to the open feature request.
→ RH-223 3D view clipping
-wim
I was hyped by your super fast response, but looking at the age of the original request, my hopes cooled down a bit. Do you think there will ever be a chance this feature will be considered?
In the long run, sure.

@riccardo.foschi2 you can render with clipping objects using VRay. Maybe other render engines support it too.
One alternative is using Boolean difference with history (keeping both input and cutting objects)
I want to add one more request , what if to add also a clipping box for grashopper , what I mean : sometime we do not need to view all elements in rhino there could be too much , but with a clipping box we could resolve the problem , to have it in Grasshopper ,
1 insert point
2 width X
3 lenght Y
4 High
5 boolean togle for reverse the clipping
