Feature Request: Export

The default for EXPORT is to Rhino and to the same file name.
I wish there were as CANCEL button when get you the dialog saying that you are about to overwrite.

Hi @miano I do get that replace warning when exporting, can you send me _SystemInfo?

There is no simple cancel button. I have to do “revert” which takes several minutes.

I think this addresses that problem -
RH-70327 Export: Leave out the file name
Does that make sense with wjhat you are asking for?

-Pascal

I think I must be seeing a bug. After restarting, I am getting “Cancel/Replace.” In actual day-to-day operation I am seeing “Overwrite/Revert.”

This could well be an Apple Rosetta thing.

I am not sure of the sequence that produces this but, with great frequency, I get this dialog from the EXPORT command when I forget to change the type from RHINO to PDF. Revert takes a long tie to complete. I just want to cancel and go back.

That is indeed a severe and annoying issue. All this happens just on your single MacBook is that correct? Are all local files (on your Mac) or are you working on a network drive? Are the files being synchronized to a cloud drive in the background? To solve this we need as much info as possible.

I will have to check on that. I work locally sometimes and network drive sometimes. There should not be a cloud drive.

thanks, I believe by default, Mac will synch files from desktop to iCloud, so also keep an eye on that.
