I wish OffsetSrf would take into account (or better take into account) joined surfaces. Here I have joined surfaces where three converge at a single point.
If I do offsetsrf I get this:
Where none of the resulting surfaces converge.
Hi Jim - I think this is the expected and correct result in many cases if the offset is a true offset - can you post the surfaces?
Here’s an example - See how Rhino has to build the little surfaces to accommodate the discreapancy - if the vertices aligned, then something else would have to give in the offset.

The problem is that offsetsrf here takes a joined polysurface and makes one that will not join. Adding thickness to the surface becomes impossible.
