When I “Offset Surface” my joined original surface, why’s Rhino creating additional surfaces to connect my original surface and the "Offset"ed Surface I want?
How do I stop Rhino from adding those additional surfaces, which sometimes give me a hard time to adjust “Variable Radius Blend” of the original surfaces?
My guess is you’re trying to use OffsetSrf on a Polysurface.
Each surface is offset individually.
There is a “test” command called TestOffsetPolysurface you could try.
It will not autocomplete and is not robust enough to be promoted to a full documented command yet.
That is because the command line option is set to Solid=Yes. Change that and the result will not be ‘connected’.
