I keep getting an error with Rhino.Inside Revit after I start Rhino.Inside and then click on “Grasshopper” that says “Failed to load Revit Grasshopper Components”. We are working with Rhino 8 and after seeing the error I initially updated Rhino.Inside to the latest version, but am still getting the error.
Its happening to me within both Revit 2024 and 2025. I did the update and also an uninstall and reinstall of RIR and still no luck.
At some point my colleague and I ended up removing my Rhino 8 settings file to let it rebuilt itself which actually helped, but then after a couple of hours the issue happened again.
Hi @Japhy! I’m experiencing exactly the same problem. I’m running Rhino Version 8 SR29, and Revit 2026. I’ve updated the RiR version to current one (Rhino.Inside Revit: 1.35.9540.6370 (2026-02-13T03:32:20) but the problem persists.
I’ve also uninstalled and reinstalled Rhino and RiR, with no change. I’ve also disabled the third-party plugins that do not ship with Rhino.
@Japhy I’ve figured out that there seems to be a compatibility issue with a third party Grasshopper Add-on which is still in Alpha stage. After uninstalling it, everything works fine.
hi! im experiencing a similar issue when trying to use rhino inside. Also package manager stopped working which can also have someting to do with the issue. The issue began when Rhino crashed after making a “save as copy”. Tried disabling the firewall and reinstallin rhino inside. Anyone with a clue on how to solve it? any help is appreciated
