Fading diamond pattern on flat surface

Hi ,

I totally new on grasshopper. Could somebody share ideas on how to create fading diamond pattern on flat surface similar to below :

Just assumed the surface is flat without any 3D depression

The area without pattern will be for logo placement.

Final appearance will be similar to below ( Ignore the surface curvature ) ;

I intend to create the fading geometry on the part below :
