Faces selection bug?

Hi
When selecting adjacent rows/loops of faces, it always also select an unintended cross section/loop. how to avoid that?
It feels like a bug.

thanks a lot

I have seen this too and have just deselected that whole extra loop and then added the two faces back to the selection. It’s a valid point though and I filed https://mcneel.myjetbrains.com/youtrack/issue/RH-57831 to see if we can limit the ctrl+shift+double click to only pay attention to the last selected face.

Thank you Brian

An additional thing that would be very helpful for more complex selection of multiple faces [edges/Vertices] is sud-object-selection undo.

Can you explain more? I’m not sure I follow… maybe another video would help

Not related question @Akash. But how do you zoom smoothly to an object in Rhino as in first few seconds of first video?
