When I use delete the objects which wall were extended, the walls are automatically return to unextend, but I wish they maintain the surface shape, I saw the help files said it can, but I don’t know why I can’t. Besides, the unextend tools doesn’t work, only when I delete the extended objects the walls could unextend. Hope someone can help me.

I actually ran into this recently as well, the walls would extend if I deleted or in any way modified the objects they had been extended too.
I had extended some walls to a set of surfaces, and when I trimmed some parts of those surfaces, the walls unextended.
