Explicit History bug - loading errors: GH_Scribble Levels 1, 2, and 3

Hi,

I have a problem with loading Explicit History on Rhino WIP 5D92w (on iMac with MacOS Sierra 10.12). After 100% loading of components it stops with alert Grasshoppers Loading Errors: Object: GH_Scribble (level 1) …level 2 … level 3. This bug was reported couple of months ago by some other user (Loading Errors: GH_Scribble Levels 1, 2, and 3), however, any solution was recommended yet. Could you please help me somehow? Thanks.

Did you try the steps in this post? I presume it did not solve the problem. If not…

Next step I would ask you to try would be to remove any other Grasshopper components you may have installed.
These are in:
~/Library/Application Support/McNeel/Rhinoceros/MacPlugins/Grasshopper/Libraries
and see what happens.

What version of macOS (or OS X) are you running?

Hi,

Thanks for quick reply. Alas, none of those solutions you mentioned didn’t solve the problem. I run MacOS Sierra 10.12 on my iMac but it didn’t work also on latest El Capitan 10.11.6 I used before. However, I just installed this Rhino WIP 5D92w on my Macbook Pro (with El Capitan 10.11.6) where I do not have full Rhino 5 installed yet and Explicit History works smoothly.

Hi Dan,

Do you have some suggestions what to do to make Grasshopper working on my iMac?
Thanks!

Unfortunately, right now, we can’t reproduce the issue, but we are tracking it. Logged in MR-2904. I wish I could give a workaround…it is likely configuration-specific (hardware or software), but we don’t see a pattern yet.

I seem to get the exact same error on my Macbook Air, while I’m not on my iMac.
