Error clippingplane

Hello, I am trying to use clippingplane to so some sections. But everytime I tried rhino closes because of an error. Any solutions?

Please update to the latest version of Rhino and report back…

Same problem with rhino 6 :frowning:

I guess we could probably start trying to figure out what’s wrong with you running SystemInfo in your V6 posting the results here. I suspect that as clipping planes use a lot of OpenGL functions, that your graphics card/driver may be part of the problem…

No. In Rhino 6, type SystemInfo . That will display a dialog box with text. Copy that text and paste it in a reply here.

Also, attach the 3dm file that is crashing on your system.

Does Rhino crash only when you use this particular file?
Also, there is no clipping plane in the file that you sent but it crashes Rhino here anyway. When I started in safe mode and deleted the weird meshes that go on into infinity, I found no further problems with that file.
