I’m having issues, I think, with the DPI settings in Rhino. When I am only using just one window on one display, I can right click to get the dropdown menu in the Layers panel. When I have Grasshopper open or have floating viewport on my other monitor, I cannot see the right-click dropdown menu. Has anyone else run into/fixed this issue?
It sounds like you may be running 2 monitors.
If they are both running the same resolution and same text scaling, Rhino should be okay on either screen.
If the screen resolution or text scaling (Windows settings) are different, then Rhino gets really confused.

Thanks @John. Changing the resolution solved the problem; unfortunately, that makes my current set-up unusable. Is there a way to get around this through a custom scaling or something along those lines?
This is a limitation in V7.
There is some hope that for V8 we will be able to handle multiple screens running different resolutions and text scaling better than we do now.
I haven’t seen anything internally to test.
