Distortion of jpeg image on a picture frame

I was using a jpeg on a picture frame as a background image. While navigating around in the perspective window, the image suddenly became very distorted and would scale wildly as I zoomed in and out. I had the picture frame on a separate layer that was locked. This happened even when I reverted to a saved copy of the file. It finally cleared up before I could get a screen capture to illustrate the problem. Has anyone else encountered this behavior?

Thanks,
Dennis

I was some of that in early service releases of V5, but they were fixed I think by SR9 or SR10. We’re on the final service release now at SR13.

Are you running SR12 or 13?

I’m on SR 12

That should be fine then.
How about display adapter and drivers?
Please send a screenshot of the settings in Options > View > OpenGL

When I open the update window it says McNeel update service unavailable. Is that on my end or your end?

OK. The Quadro is a good card.
You’re drivers aren’t the latest but they aren’t ancient either.

Have you made the two recommend nVidia Control Panel settings changes detailed at the bottom of this support document?

Your end.
It doesn’t matter though. SR12 is fine.

Thanks John. I made the two recommended adjustment in the control panel. I hesitate to update the driver since it took me some effort to find a driver that worked with my computer and Windows 10. I haven’t noticed any distortions to a picture frame image lately. Fingers crossed.
