Displaying isocurves in Lumion

Hi
How can I adjust the UV map or what should I do to make these isocurves repeat in the Lumion model? I couldn’t find such a parameter in the Rhino or Lumion settings to display seams and joints of the surfaces. Right now I have a smooth texture, I need embossed panels, but if I shift them manually it takes a long time.

What I need to get, what I’m focused on

Mesh textures don’t help

What about having dedicated “Physical” pipes instead of texture/curves with flat shading material?

In rhino _ExtractWireframe from SubD and then _pipe with the desired radius.

Edit: Maybe Lumion can manage curves, and piping is not necessary, so.

@DanielK1 thanks so much for the tip, I will definitely try that.
I also think I will have to apply a texture to the model in Rhino so that there is a proper UV scale display, not just color. Also, maybe groove modeling, however long it might be with ribbed loops.
You can clearly see that there are relief grooves, hollows in the GFR panels with battens and structural profiles. Great!

Not sure if I got everything you wrote. But the Grasshopper will be your best friend in drawing complex 3D models for your project.

For Viz purpose check this “Shut liming” in Rhino:

I don’t like it that much, since it is very slow, but it could serve.

Proper UV mapping could be pretty tough in this case, I am afraid that you have to unwrap it.

Best,
D.

@DanielK1 thank you! It really is a working method, although it is slow. The only thing is that the grid gets distorted in some parts, but I think that can be solved by scaling and increasing the topology subdivisions or something… All in all, this is what I need

Yes, a very good option of wire tubes, and probably even better and faster than Shut lining
