DimAngle Text is Upside Down

How can I get the dimangle dimension text to be readable and aligned to the dimension?

Hi Nick - you can set dimension text to always read horizontal, in the annotationstyle properties in DocumentProperties > Annotation Styles.

Thank you, Pascal, that’s what I’ve done to work-around it, but I’d like it aligned, not horizontal.

Hi Nick,

Make sure you have this ticked in the dim style:

Not particularly intuitive as you wouldn’t think you are viewing the text from behind. I keep it ticked all the time and only thought of it when I found I couldn’t reproduce your situatio.

However, that being said, this is not really a “viewed from behind” situation…

Oh wow, that’s weird. I thought that setting only affected model space dimensions, whereas mine is in a layout.
